Location: Lambwood Heights, 244 Lambourne Rd, Chigwell IG7 6HX

Hours: 42 hours per week

Pay: £13.83 per hour

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Shift: Nights

What you will be doing:

  • Leading a team of Care Assistants.
  • Managing the day-to-day needs of our residents.
  • Delivering the highest standard of care.
  • Ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Supporting family members and visitors.
  • Assisting with meals and daily activities.

What you need to succeed:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up for or working towards it).
  • Trained in medication administration.
  • Excellent people and customer service skills.
  • Ability to induct and supervise junior staff.
  • Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
  • Good communication skills — verbal (within the team and with external professionals) and written (care plans), including digital skills.
  • Caring attitude.
  • Flexible and reliable.
