The Head of Housekeeping role is a fundamental role in our homes in creating a caring and family environment so our residents can enjoy a happy and comfortable life.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure an excellent environment is provided for our residents at all times.
- Clean all areas of the home.
- Ensure a hazard free environment.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
- Assist with stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries.
- Advise the housekeeper or responsible officer when consumables need to be restocked.
- Assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and hygiene is maintained.
- Assist with the preparation of the lounge, dining room or other communal areas.
- Disposal of refuse/waste.
- Assist with the organisation of resident clothing for laundry.
- Accident reports.
