Are you a compassionate, hard‑working and reliable person who finds purpose in supporting others? We are looking for a dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents while the rest of the world sleeps.

At Oakland Care, our teams tell us to offer good quality care; you must be willing to look after your residents’ physical, psychological and social needs. You will help with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. As a Care Assistant at Oakland Care we ask you to care for our residents like they are your own family.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent care and support to our residents throughout the night.
  • Assisting with mobility, comfort and safety needs.
  • Carry out regular checks and respond to any night‑time requirements.
  • Keep accurate records and communicate effectively.
  • Maintain a calm, reassuring environment for our residents.
  • A can‑do attitude.
  • Be a compassionate and caring person.
  • Be a true team player.
  • Have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker – this is advantageous but not essential as full training is given.
