We’re looking for a talented Lifestyles Assistant to join our team and help create fun, meaningful, and engaging experiences for our residents. From games and crafts to music sessions and exciting outings, you’ll play a key role in delivering activities that enrich daily life and promote well-being. What you will be doing:
- Planning and delivering a vibrant programme of activities that enrich daily life for our residents.
- Working closely with the Lifestyles Manager to organise key events and encourage residents to build confidence in social settings.
- Developing new activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies and interests.
- Organising group craft sessions, leading musical activities, supporting an art or knitting club, or inspiring residents one-to-one.
- Bringing warmth, creativity, and genuine kindness to every interaction.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience working with people in a person-centred way.
- Willingness to learn and work towards an S/NVQ qualification if not already achieved.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and support people from diverse backgrounds.
- Confidence with practical day-to-day tasks involved in activity delivery.
