Location: Regional, ideally based in Essex/North London/Hertfordshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay: £37,960 per annum plus £3k car allowance or £6k electric car allowance

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

*Please note there is a 10-minute presentation at interview stage if successful, where applicants will be asked how they would make learning fun, engaging, and interactive.*

As a Regional Trainer, you’ll work closely with your Learning and Development colleagues, General Managers, and their teams in our care homes to identify development needs, design impactful learning experiences, and support talent strategies that drive performance and engagement. You’ll help shape a high-performance culture where learning is part of everyone’s day and achievements are celebrated!

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess development needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate bespoke learning programmes across various topics.
  • Support performance and career development frameworks, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal subject matter experts as needed.
  • Champion a learning culture across the business.
  • Provide regular reports to the Head of Learning and Development and General Managers.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, preferably in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to deliver hands-on learning solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of contemporary dementia care practices.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
  • Passionate about making learning fun!
