This role is essential in ensuring our residents have clean, fresh, and well‑cared‑for clothing and linen, contributing to a comfortable and dignified living environment.

Hours: 25 hours per week
Pay: £13.20 per hour
Contract: Part-time, Permanent
Shift: Monday to Friday 3pm-8pm

What you will be doing:
- Washing, drying, ironing, and folding residents’ clothing and care home linen
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the laundry area
- Ensuring laundry is clearly labelled and returned promptly to the correct residents
- Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently and supporting infection control procedures and COSHH guidelines
- Supporting the wider housekeeping team when required
- Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first

- Previous housekeeping experience (care home experience is desirable but not essential)
