We are looking for an inspiring Lifestyles Team Leader to join our growing care home family and lead the planning and delivery of meaningful, engaging activities for our residents.

About the role
will play a pivotal role in enriching the daily lives of our residents. You will lead and coordinate the Lifestyles Team, ensuring a varied and person-centred programme that reflects residents’ interests, abilities, and life stories. This is a rewarding role for someone with a fun, outgoing approach and a genuine passion for enhancing wellbeing.

Location: Lambwood Heights, 244 Lambourne Road, Chigwell IG7 6HX
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: £15 per hour
Contract: Full time
Shift: Days (Includes some weekends)
What you will be doing:
- Planning and delivering meaningful activities tailored to residents’ interests and physical and cognitive abilities.
- Encouraging active participation and creating inclusive, engaging experiences.
- Coordinating tasks and supporting the Lifestyles Team.
- Ensuring a varied and stimulating programme of daily events.
- Working closely with care staff and family members to truly understand each resident’s background, interests, and life experiences.
- Sharing best practice and encouraging all staff to take an active role in residents’ activities.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A creative flair with practical skills such as arts and crafts.
- The ability to motivate, engage, and inspire others.
- A talent for creating a welcoming environment that encourages participation.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
