We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Chef to join our dedicated catering team at our residential care home in Felpham, Bognor Regis. The successful candidate will prepare and serve nutritious, home‑cooked meals for our residents, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards and meets individual dietary requirements. You will play a key role in creating enjoyable dining experiences while maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and infection control standards. - Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with the planned menu.
- Deliver a three-course lunch and dinner service for residents.
- Ensure meals meet dietary, nutritional, and individual resident requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Complete all kitchen records, including temperature checks and food safety documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and infection prevention procedures.
- Assist with stock control and notify management of replenishment requirements.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen assistants and the wider care home team.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for meal variety and nutrition.
- Support catering requirements for events, celebrations, and special occasions.
- Attend mandatory training and comply with company policies and procedures.
