This is the number 1 finance role for the business and has overall responsibility and control of finance for an SME business. The role reports directly into the Directors and manages a small team.
Key aspects of the role will include:
- Long-term business plans and strategy
- Identifying business risks and opportunities
- Financial reporting and communication
- Preparation and distribution of the company’s Statutory Accounts
- Monthly Management Accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Compliance with and computation of the company’s tax returns
- Ensuring company compliance with legislation and payroll
The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant, with a history of working in a similar role and happy to manage all aspects of day-to-day company finance. The ability and willingness to interact with other areas of the business is key. Experience of Xero would be an advantage.
