Oakhill Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading global client who are recruiting for a Finance Accountant to join their expanding team in Norfolk. You will be involved in managing my clients' financial operations, so it is essential that the successful candidate comes from a practiced trained environment and is methodical in their work. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACCA or ACA qualified accountant to make their first move out of practice and into the commercial sector.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of external reporting, such as subsidiary financial statements and annual reports
- Review acquisition completion accounts
- Ensure compliance is maintained with IFRS
- Take ownership of reconciliation around technical areas of balance sheets
- Create technical calculations and models for share-based payments and hedge accounting
- Create weekly and month-end reporting
Experience and skills required:
- Strong understanding and exposure to IFRS
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Proven audit experience
- Proven practice background
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Methodical and strong attention to detail
