This is an exciting time to join Oakham School. As the School moves into a new chapter, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused Admissions Assistant to join our Admissions & Marketing team.
Admissions sits at the very heart of welcoming new families to Oakham. Often one of the first points of contact for prospective pupils and parents, you will help ensure that every family receives a warm, professional and memorable experience, from their initial enquiry and first visit through to joining the School.
Working closely with the Admissions Manager and wider team, you will play a varied and busy role supporting the admissions journey for UK families, with some involvement in international admissions.
The role
No two days will be quite the same. You will:
- Help to build positive relationships with prospective pupils and their families;
- Coordinate visits, tours, taster days, interviews and assessments;
- Support exciting admissions and recruitment events, both at School and off-site;
- Ensure applications, offers and joining information are managed accurately and efficiently;
- Maintain high-quality records and data on the School’s management information system;
- Help create offer packs and support families through the next stages of joining Oakham;
- Provide excellent day-to-day administrative support to the Admissions team; and work collaboratively across the School to help deliver an outstanding admissions experience.
