This service specialises in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour, so experience within this client group is highly desirable. Job Purpose
- Motivate and inspire your teams to provide outstanding support through effective training, coaching and leadership by example.
- Act as a role model and leader in the delivery of active support, empowering the people you support to have active and fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations.
- Work collaboratively with the Service Leadership Team to oversee and manage the smooth running of this service, including rostering, support plans, staff deployment, and budget management.
Responsibilities
- Be an empathetic, compassionate, and patient individual by providing person‑centred approaches for those you support and leading your team to success.
- Be an effective communicator with the ability to influence others and ensure you get the best from your team, possessing excellent leadership and team management skills.

Requirements
- Strong understanding of best practice in delivering support to people with different needs and a passion for doing so.
- Excellent communication and people management skills, with knowledge of current CQC regulations and the new framework, and a proven track record of quality assurance and service improvement.
- Capacity to work with 24/7/365 operations; shift patterns will include early mornings, late evenings, occasional sleep‑ins, and waking nights, requiring flexibility to cover the rota.
