We are currently working on behalf of a specialist care organisation who are looking for a care assistant to make a difference in their service in Littlehampton, who can commit to a flexible rota. The service prides itself on providing the highest level of care to the elderly and individuals with dementia and Alzheimer\’\’s so experience within this client group would be desirable. Role summary: The Care Assistant provides person-centred support to service users to promote independence and quality of life in a residential or community setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily living activities including personal care, cooking, cleaning, and assisting with travel and appointments.
  • Assist service users with accessing community-based activities such as college, swimming, work placements and other social and leisure activities.
  • Work on a flexible rota, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Provide compassionate, patient, and respectful care to elderly individuals and those with dementia or Alzheimer\’\’s.
