About Us
At Oakfield Dental we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental care in a modern, welcoming, and patient-focused environment. We offer a wide range of treatments, from general and routine family dentistry to advanced specialist care.

We are looking for a dynamic, empathetic, and highly organized individual to take on a key leadership position within our practice as our Treatment Coordinator & Front-of-House Lead. This is a prominent front-facing role with a secondary requirement to provide dental nursing cover only as and when necessary.

The Role
This is a varied, fast-paced role where your primary focus will be leading our front-of-house operations and driving our routine patient journeys. Working collaboratively alongside our existing Senior Treatment Coordinator (who manages our advanced specialist treatments), you will take ownership of routine, restorative, and general care consultations. While this is primarily a front-of-house and coordination role, you will also utilize your clinical background to step into the surgery to provide dental nursing cover during staff holidays, sickness, or peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As Treatment Coordinator (Routine Care):
    • Work alongside our Specialist TCO to ensure all patients receive a seamless, world-class experience.
    • Hold consultations with patients requiring routine, restorative, or general dental work (e.g., crowns, bridges, fillings, whitening) to discuss their plans, options, and costs.
    • Discuss and arrange patient finance options and track routine treatment uptake.
  • As Front-of-House Lead:
    • Take a leading role on the reception desk, ensuring a warm, premium welcome for all patients.
    • Oversee the appointment book, maximize scheduling efficiency, and handle patient enquiries via phone and email.
    • Lead by example to ensure seamless communication between the front desk and the clinical team.
  • As an Ad-Hoc Dental Nurse (Secondary Duty):
    • Provide high-quality chairside assistance and cross-infection control only as and when required to cover emergencies, sickness, or annual leave.

About You
We are looking for a confident, articulate professional who thrives on front-of-house leadership and building patient relationships, but possesses the clinical qualifications to support the team in the surgery when needed.

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid GDC Registration as a Dental Nurse (required for ad-hoc cover).
  • Strong leadership qualities with a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Previous experience in a dental reception, front-of-house, or TCO environment.
  • Strong IT skills (experience with dental software SOE/Exact).
  • Outstanding multitasking skills—comfortable leading the front desk with the flexibility to step into surgery when necessary.

What We Offer
We believe in rewarding our team for their hard work and dedication. In return for your skills, we offer:

  • Competitive Salary with a performance-related bonus structure.
  • GDC & Indemnity fees covered annually.
  • Comprehensive Training and mentorship from our experienced Specialist TCO.
  • Modern, fully digitalized working environment.
  • Company pension scheme and funded CPD opportunities.
  • Regular team social events.

How to Apply
If you are a GDC-registered professional looking to transition into a front-of-house leadership and TCO career while keeping your clinical skills active, we want to hear from you! To apply please submit your CV along with a brief cover letter.
