Current Vacancy
Job Position/Grade: Procurement Coordinator, Fixed Term Contract (12-Month Maternity Cover)
Weare looking to appoint a component purchaser to work within ourUK Facilities. The main role for the successful applicant will incorporate functions such as (but not limited to):
- Sourcing all required parts needed to repair components ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements.
- Sourcing best possible price and lead times and negotiating with suppliers.
- Regular monitoring of all spares on order to ensure TAT’s are met.
- Weekly reports to all suppliers.
- Weekly reports to all workshops.
- Conversing with Commercial and Tech Division teams.
- Allocating spares and putting units into work.
- Assisting Goods In with any part discrepancies/rejections.
- Raising repair orders and monitoring all third-party repairs.
- Raising sales quotations and orders.
Job skills, experience and qualifications:
- Able to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with internal departments and external vendors to foster productive relationships.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising effectively, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate high accuracy in data entry, record keeping, and document management to prevent errors and maintain integrity.
- Understands fundamental procurement concepts, terminology, and processes, enabling quick adaptation to the role’s requirements.
- Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferredbut notessential.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues, supporting a positive and cooperative team environment.
- Excellent command of the English Language.
- Good understanding of MS Office suite.
- Experience in use of office computer systems and email.
Job Information:
- Further package specific on request
- 28 days PA Holiday (Includes bank holidays).
- Additional leave on company closure days (currently additional 3.5 days).
- Measured Flexible working scheme.
- Based at Rayleigh, Essex.
