Self Employed Trade Plate Driver

Overview

Oakdene Collection is a prestigious independent reseller of luxury, high-specification vehicles. We are looking for a reliable and professional Trade Plate Driver to join our team. This role involves collecting and delivering vehicles across the UK, ensuring that every movement aligns with our high standards of care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver vehicles nationwide using trade plates.
• Travel with our team in Oakdene vehicles for most journeys.
• Occasionally travel independently via train to collect vehicles when required.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks prior to collection and delivery.
• Ensure all vehicles are handled safely and professionally at all times.
• Complete paperwork and handovers accurately.
• Represent Oakdene Collection with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence with a clean record.
• Previous experience as a trade plate driver or in vehicle movements is preferred.
• Strong awareness of road safety and vehicle handling.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to travel nationwide, sometimes at short notice.
