We are now seeking a proactive and experienced Data Analyst to join our operational team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring Oakdale runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with our mission to help people thrive.
The Role – What You’ll Do
Working within an expanding analysis team, you will report to the Senior Data Analyst. As an experienced Data Analyst, you will be expected to engage with multiple stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate analysis and reporting, both for internal and external recipients. This will involve handling sensitive mental health data with heightened care and responsibility.
Essential Your Skills and Experience:
- Strong SQL (T-SQL, SQL Server), for queries, stored procedures, functions.
- Understanding relational databases.
- Advanced Excel.
- Using Visual Basic for Applications for the automating of tasks.
- High level of attention to detail / strong on accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of NHS datasets, preferably mental health.
- Knowledge of Salesforce (administration / reporting).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of MS Access.
Core Responsibilities How you’ll make a difference
- Write and maintain complex SQL statements.
- Create effective reporting / dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of data, of reporting, and of data integrity.
- Working within a team to provide timely delivery of ad-hoc requests and recurring reporting.
- Provide detailed documentation.
Day to Day Activities
- Ensure the delivery of scheduled reporting.
- Engagement with stakeholders to understand new reporting requirements.
- The building and delivery of clear analysis and reporting.
- Bringing a proactive approach to delivering data insights to the business.
