Oakcrest Care is a family run provider dedicated to giving children and young people the stability, care, and opportunities they deserve. Our homes offer nurturing, therapeutic environments for children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD), Learning Difficulties (LD), and Learning Needs (LN). We’re now looking for an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead our new home in Ilford, East London.

The Role

This is a hands on leadership role with real responsibility and autonomy. You’ll take the lead in running a new service, guiding it through Ofsted registration and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are in place from day one. You’ll have the freedom to build your own team, shape the home’s culture, and create a setting where children feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the home in line with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.
  • Ensure children receive personalized, therapeutic support that meets their individual needs.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate your team to deliver excellent care.
  • Maintain full compliance and inspection readiness at all times.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with local authorities, families, and other professionals.
