Role Purpose

Stoke City FC are looking for an Academy Chef to join our culinary team, supporting the development of our academy squads with fresh, nutritious and high‑quality food every day at the Clayton Wood Training Ground and Academy. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to grow, learn and be introduced to the exciting world of stadium catering - a genuine stepping stone into sports hospitality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing breakfast, lunch and snacks for academy squads
  • Assisting the Head Chef with menu planning, ordering and stock control
  • Running the kitchen confidently in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Maintaining accurate temperature logs, delivery checks and compliance records
  • Ensuring the smooth, efficient and safe operation of the academy kitchen
  • Upholding excellent hygiene standards and supporting a positive kitchen culture
