Role Purpose

We're looking for Retail Team Leaders to join Southampton Football Club’s matchday team within Front of House Retail, supporting fast-paced food and beverage outlets across the stadium. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced team leaders seeking flexible, casual work in a vibrant matchday environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles (stadium or event experience desirable)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • A positive, reliable, and team-oriented approach
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team during busy service periods

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting retail teams during matchday operations
  • Ensuring smooth service delivery across kiosks and retail units
  • Providing excellent customer service and leading by example
  • Resolving customer queries and supporting service standards
  • Supporting stock control and maintaining retail presentation standards
  • Operating tills and assisting with transactions when required

  • Pay rate: £16.23 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) £14.48 base pay.
