The Premium Services & Catering Manager provides support and assistance with catering activities and assists concession managers in the profitable management of concessions operations. The Catering Manager will independently initiate and authorize employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion, and transfer. They will also manage employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment.
This role offers an annual salary of $55,000-$60,000. Benefits for Full-Time roles include: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance; 401(k) savings plan; 401(k) matching; and paid time off (vacation, sick days, and 11 holidays). This position will remain open until July 31, 2025.
Responsibilities- Assist in managing Catering and Concessions operations effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service policies.
- Monitor alcohol service during events to ensure 100% compliance.
- Report any alcohol service or compliance issues immediately.
- Provide ongoing supervision, direction, and mentoring to hourly staff.
- Monitor product quality and guest service standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with Point of Sale Systems.
- Assist with vault opening, closing, and balancing as needed.
- Generate event employee schedules and verify employee hours.
- Assist in training, developing, mentoring, and supervising hourly employees, documenting performance and attendance issues per company policy.
- Manage catered events from setup to teardown, coordinating with staff and guests.
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or higher in Culinary Management, Business Management, or related field.
- Three to five years of experience in Concessions Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related fields.
- Degree can be substituted with four or more years of relevant supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
- Excellent communication skills to foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
