Develops and oversees comprehensive marketing strategies to promote events, increase brand awareness, and drive attendance at Santander Arena & Performing Arts Center. Collaborates with event organizers, sponsors, and media partners to maximize promotional opportunities. Analyzes market trends, audience insights, and campaign performance metrics to optimize marketing initiatives. Manages budgets, negotiates contracts, and ensures all marketing efforts align with organizational goals and brand identity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute media plans tailored to events of all sizes, optimizing budget allocation for maximum impact.
- Serve as the local market expert, providing strategic guidance to promoters who may need support in effectively marketing their events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with show promoters to align marketing strategies and maximize event success.
- Establish and grow community and media partnerships, including local press, charity organizations, and colleges, to enhance outreach.
- Work closely with the social media team to ensure they have tickets for giveaways and all necessary details for promotions, discounts, and event messaging.
- Negotiate media buys, trade promotions, and grassroots marketing initiatives to expand event exposure.
- Conduct market research, leveraging Placer AI data to track audience demographics and optimize marketing efforts.
- Plan and execute third-party promotions, digital retargeting, and social media strategies to grow audience reach.
- Oversee and approve all marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across print, TV, radio, and digital ads.
- Collaborate with event promoters and facility personnel to execute effective marketing campaigns.
- Strengthen media relations and secure ongoing press coverage to increase event visibility.
- Assist in developing promotional materials and sales collateral to drive attendance and revenue.
- Provide post-event analysis, tracking key performance metrics to refine future marketing strategies.
- Contribute to special event marketing plans, integrating grassroots initiatives and digital engagement.
- Manage and expand media trade partnerships to enhance promotional reach and value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field preferred.
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, or event marketing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
- Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Experience marketing concerts, sports, or similar products.
- Experience in media buying, digital advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Knowledge of local market trends, audience demographics, and event marketing strategies.
- Experience working in the entertainment, sports, or live events industry (preferred but not always required).
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Placer AI, or other data platforms.
