Role Purpose At Co-op Live, we're creating unforgettable experiences for fans, artists and visitors, and none of it would be possible without the people who bring every event to life. We are looking for a proactive and people-focused People Operations Events Supervisor to play a vital role in the delivery of our event-day workforce operations, ensuring our teams are supported, prepared and ready to deliver exceptional service at every event. Responsibilities Reporting to the People Operations Team, you will oversee event-day staffing operations across the venue, acting as a key point of contact for casual event staff and Event Day Staffing Assistants. You will be responsible for supervising staff deployment, coordinating workforce activities and ensuring operational issues are resolved quickly and effectively. Working at the heart of our People Operations function, you'll help ensure every event runs smoothly from a staffing perspective while maintaining the highest operational standards. A key part of the role involves managing staff check-in processes, workforce deployment, uniform distribution and equipment control. You will support colleagues with workforce management systems, oversee staff facilities and ensure operational areas remain organised, compliant and event-ready throughout the event lifecycle. You'll also carry out readiness checks, support venue operations and collaborate with teams across the business to deliver a seamless experience for both staff and guests. You will have previous supervisory experience within hospitality, events, retail, leisure or another customer-focused operational environment and be confident coordinating teams during busy live events. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to make decisions under pressure are essential, as is a positive and professional approach to problem solving. Experience working within a live entertainment venue or with workforce management systems such as Ubeya or Humanforce would be advantageous, although not essential. What matters most is your ability to support people, maintain high standards and contribute to the successful delivery of world-class events.
