Role Purpose
We’re looking for a People Operations Assistant to jump into the action on a casual basis and help keep event days running at full throttle. You’ll be right in the thick of it, supporting the People Operations team with the fast-moving fulfilment, deployment, and logistics that power our event workforce. When show day hits, it’s all hands on deck. You’ll manage casual staff ingress and egress, fire out uniforms, and keep meal vouchers and food flowing, making sure our teams are prepped, energised, and exactly where they need to be, exactly when they need to be there.
Responsibilities
- As a valued member of the team, you will play a key role in supporting the People Operations Team by coordinating the efficient deployment of teams and overseeing operations throughout events, ensuring smooth execution.
- You will manage all administrative tasks related to our Casual Crew workforce, including creating deployment plans, booking and confirming shifts, and maintaining clear communication with team members.
- On event days, you’ll act as a central point of contact - delivering briefings to ensure your team understands their roles and is equipped with all essential event information.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Joining us as a People Operations Assistant on a casual basis, you will have the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support event schedules. At times there will be a requirement to be in the office mid-week therefore being able to work events and office hours are essential. - Oversee casual staff deployment ingress/egress
- Management of casual teams
- Dispute / conflict management experience
- Microsoft experience & administration skills

Desirable
- Stewarding experience
- SIA License
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Spectator Safety
