About The Venue: Pilots Bar & Kitchen is inspired by the glamour of travel in the 1950s. As part of Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, our 150 cover restaurant serves an eclectic Brasserie style menu featuring international favourites and British specials. As a perfect dining option for all, Pilots is a destination in its own right.

Role Purpose: We are seeking a mature and accomplished Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Pilots, Heathrow Terminal 5, managed by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection. As Restaurant Manager you will oversee all aspects of the day to day operations at Pilot’s Bar & Kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery, proactively seeking improvements and reacting to challenges as they arise.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in achieving and exceeding set operational targets as well as capability to plan strategically to deliver improved revenue streams and enhance team performance whilst increasing overall brand and restaurant awareness. Demonstrate a solid commercial understanding and be responsible for the recruitment and development of the teams, identifying key personnel and retaining talent within the team ensuring adequate succession planning and career progression.

You will be an inspirational leader – setting the example and motivating the team to exceed our goals and guests’ expectations. Ideally you will have General Manager or Restaurant Manager experience in a busy restaurant or brasserie, however that gained from hotels or refined, high volume restaurants will also be suitable. Experience of working in an Airport venue would also be beneficial.
