Role Purpose

Salary: Up to £48,000 based in South West London. We're looking for a talented Pastry Senior Sous Chef to support the leadership of our kitchen team and help deliver exceptional culinary experiences at some of the UK's most prestigious events. From VIP hospitality and luxury canapé receptions to world-class sporting occasions and high-profile celebrations, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable food experiences. This isn't your typical Senior Sous Chef role. You'll be working behind the scenes at iconic events, from movie premieres rubbing shoulders with A-listers, Wimbledon's hallowed grounds, and the elegance of Royal Ascot. No two days are ever the same!

What you'll be doing

  • Variety every day – tastings, menu development, client events, and operational planning
  • Support and mentor a talented brigade across multiple London venues and events
  • Work with premium ingredients and deliver food at the highest standard
  • Work / life balance that actually exists – Primarily daytime hours with flexibility for select evening events and weekends.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong background in high-volume hospitality, luxury events, fine dining, or 5-star hotels
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef leading successful kitchen teams
  • Passion for developing people, maintaining standards, and driving consistency
  • High standards with a positive, collaborative, and hands-on approach
