We're looking for an HR Business Partner to support a busy, multi-site, multi-functional organisation and act as a primary people contact for operational managers and stakeholders across hospitality, retail, sports and entertainment, events and corporate. This is a brand new role as our people team moves into a new era, adapting to suit a growing, evolving workforce. The role supports an employee population of over 4000 across multiple disciplines but has a strong hospitality lean - therefore it's essential the successful HR Business Partner has proven expertise in this sector. This is a strategic partnering role, not a transactional one. You’ll work as a trusted consultant to senior leaders, lead a small advisory team, and help shape the people experience across a busy, multi-site business. Hospitality or food and beverage experience is vital as you’ll need to understand this world from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Business Partnering; act as a trusted HR consultant to operational leaders and senior stakeholders
- Influence people decisions at a strategic level — not just implement process
- Coach managers to build their own leadership capability
- Line manage two HR Advisors/Officers
- Provide guidance, development, and escalation support on complex casework
- Drive consistency and quality of HR across the organisation
- Proactively identify compliance risks, policy gaps, and people issues before they escalate
- Collaborate with Talent, L&D, and Reward to ensure joined-up, best-practice activity
- Oversee ER casework across the patch; personally manage complex or high-risk cases
- Use people data to surface trends and inform senior decision-making
- Produce and present insight that drives action, not just awareness
What We’re Looking For
- Substantial experience in hospitality, food and beverage, catering, or a high-volume consumer-facing environment is essential to this role.
- Proven HRBP or senior HR Generalist, operating beyond transactional HR
- 7+ years’ HR experience with clear progression to business partner level
- Experience managing or mentoring junior HR colleagues
- Strong ER background — confident handling complex, high-risk casework independently
- Track record of influencing and partnering with senior leaders
- CIPD Level 5 minimum; Level 7 advantageous
- Commercially aware, solutions-focused, and confident pushing back when needed
- An excellent communicator — credible at all levels

This role pays £57,000 – £64,000 DOE and comes with an excellent benefits package: private healthcare, corporate gym discount, enhanced parental leave, tech and EV schemes, F&B discounts, and ongoing training and development.
