Role Purpose
We’re expanding our culinary team at Rhubarb Hospitality London Events and are looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to help deliver exceptional food experiences across some of the capital’s most prestigious events. What you’ll be doing
- Take a senior leadership role in delivering exceptional quality food at high-profile events.
- Support the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence at every stage.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing brigade, setting standards and driving performance.
- Take full ownership of preparation, presentation, and smooth service across a diverse range of luxury events.
What we’re looking for
- A highly skilled chef with strong experience at Sous or Senior Sous level in fast-paced, professional kitchens.
- A background in fine dining, premium events, or five-star environments with exceptional attention to detail.
- A confident and proactive leader with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Creative flair with a genuine enthusiasm for innovation and pushing culinary boundaries.

This Senior Sous Chef role offers £21–£23 per hour + holiday pay plus benefits, including 40% discount on food and beverage, meals on duty, and ongoing training and development. Our production kitchen is based in South West London, and this role offers great flexibility on a casual contract supporting events across London.
