About the Venue: 8 Bishopsgate is a diverse, multi-outlet tenant driven operation with an incredible range of hospitality. It features two café bars, a restaurant on level 26, The Lookout on level 50, executive dining and meeting rooms, plus an auditorium for up to 200 guests. In addition, we cater events across the building.
Role Purpose: We’re seeking a hands-on events professional to help deliver our diverse portfolio of events at this prestigious London venue. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional events, this role is for you!
What we're looking for:
- A proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant with a passion for delivery.
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability to support and contribute to a high performing events team.
- Hospitality experience is strongly desired.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in the delivery of quality events, ensuring client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
- Take a hands-on approach to event delivery, supporting senior team members on the floor.
- Participate in structured briefings and pre-event meetings to ensure full event readiness.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintain exceptional service standards at all times.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support seamless event execution.
Good to know: This role offers a competitive rate of up to £14.80 per hour on a minimum 30-hour-per-week contract, along with exceptional training and development opportunities and meals provided while on duty.
