Position Summary

The Concessions Stand Ambassador assists in the staging of all snack & beverage items within their assigned location. Ensures proper merchandising and rotating of product. Additionally, they will be interacting with guests and providing assistance in all transactions at self-checkout areas. Responsible for checking IDs according to Smart Serve laws. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance and be available to work on weekends. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work well on their own as well as with others. This role pays an hourly rate of $17.60-$18.60 CAD.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in ensuring all snack & beverage products are fully stocked in designated locations.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low-stock items to management.
  • Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
  • Watch for theft and ensure that the fridges are being monitored at all times.
  • Check guest’s ID in accordance with Smart Serve and Ontario laws to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have SmartServe certification.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate.
  • Previous experience in working with point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt and learn.
