About the Venue

Managed by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, the iconic Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 3 restaurants, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and events for up to 2000 people.

Role Purpose

Join the iconic Royal Albert Hall and be part of a vibrant bar team delivering exceptional service in one of London’s most prestigious venues. If you thrive in fast paced environments and love creating great guest experiences, this is the perfect role for you. This role is situated in our bars teams that cover over 16 different bar outlets across the RAH, a chance to work in a great cross functional team that deliver great hospitality across this iconic venue.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervising the day-to-day operation of our Dining Bars, ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy events
  • Leading and supporting the team across both food and beverage service, maintaining high standards throughout
  • Preparing and serving drinks, including cocktails, while also supporting restaurant-style food service when required
  • Engaging with guests and ensuring a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience
  • Leading by example during busy periods, ensuring service is efficient without compromising quality or attention to detail
  • Supporting the training, development, and motivation of the team
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation, stock control, presentation, and food safety are maintained
  • Working closely with managers, kitchen teams, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

What we’re looking for

  • Previous supervisory experience within hospitality, ideally in a busy restaurant, bar, premium venue, or event environment
  • Strong experience in either restaurant/food service or cocktail/bar service — experience across both would be an advantage
  • A willingness and ability to work confidently across both food and beverage operations
  • A good understanding of high-quality guest service and the ability to lead a team by example
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment and managing busy periods
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a clear command of English
  • A proactive, positive approach with the confidence to support, coach, and direct team members
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences

Good to know

This is a full time role working five shifts per week with afternoon and evening shifts in a fast paced and exciting environment. Candidates must be over 18.
