About The Venue

Rhubarb are delighted to be appointed as the food and beverage provider at a prestigious international investment bank. This prestigious workplace, situated in the heart of Mayfair comprises an array of directors dining rooms and meeting spaces, with Rhubarb providing all catering and hospitality on site.

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality Manager (or Corporate Hospitality Manager) to join our team and lead our prestigious directors' dining room and corporate hospitality operation at our client's headquarters. Reporting directly to our Regional Director, you will take full ownership of delivering a best-in-class, premium hospitality experience, overseeing a team of 10 Food and Beverage Assistants and an Assistant Manager, and ensuring exceptional service standards across all corporate hospitality functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of 10 Food and Beverage Assistants and an Assistant Manager, driving recruitment strategy, induction programmes, and ongoing professional development whilst providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Take full ownership of directors' dining room operations, meeting room services, executive breakfasts, and luxury lunch buffet experiences.
  • Ensure impeccable, innovative, and edgy food and beverage offerings that position us as best-in-class and premium in the market.
  • Champion health and safety compliance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, senior executives, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver bespoke, tailored experiences for high-profile client entertaining and executive events.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for VIP requirements and represent the hospitality function at senior management meetings.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and drive commercial performance across the operation.
  • Oversee procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management to achieve best value.
  • Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and provide regular financial reporting and analysis to the Regional Director.
  • Collaborate with central departments including HR, Finance, Procurement, and Facilities on company-wide initiatives, events, and hospitality strategy.
