Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in venue development, event management, and hospitality services. With an ever-expanding portfolio, OVG is committed to excellence in delivering state-of-the-art venues and outstanding customer experiences.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of entities, including Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, The Brewery, and other OVG subsidiaries.
At Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, part of the prestigious Oak View Group, we’re not just serving food and drinks – we’re crafting memories in some of London’s most extraordinary venues. From the soaring heights of Sky Garden to the architectural marvels of 8 Bishopsgate and 22 Bishopsgate, you’ll be the creative force behind events that guests will talk about for years to come.
Role Purpose
Your Creative Canvas Awaits! As our Creative Events specialist, you’ll be the mastermind behind every visual story we tell. You’ll translate clients’ dreams into tangible experiences, whether that’s designing bespoke mood boards that capture the essence of a launch event or setting up immersive food stalls that transport guests to different culinary worlds. Your creativity won’t be confined to a desk – you’ll be hands-on, from the initial client meeting where you’ll inspire confidence with your vision, to the final moment when you ensure every piece of equipment is perfectly cleaned and stored.
The role spans our entire City portfolio, giving you the variety to work across dramatically different spaces and challenges. One day you might be orchestrating an intimate wine tasting in our head office, the next you could be designing a show-stopping installation across multiple floors of a City skyscraper. You’ll build lasting relationships with suppliers who become your creative collaborators, and work alongside our passionate events teams who understand that the magic is always in the details.
What makes this opportunity truly special is the combination of creative freedom and professional growth. You’ll work directly with our Global Head of Creative on brand collaborations and retail concepts that push boundaries in hospitality design. You’ll have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends, sharing insights that shape our quarterly strategic meetings and influence our creative direction across all venues.
The administrative side isn’t just paperwork – it’s the foundation that allows your creativity to flourish. You’ll master the art of translating creative concepts into actionable plans, ensuring every mood board becomes a seamless reality and every client conversation builds towards something extraordinary. During quieter periods, you’ll have the chance to support our restaurant and bar operations, gaining invaluable insights into every aspect of hospitality excellence.
This role offers the perfect blend of creative challenge and professional development, set against the backdrop of London’s most prestigious business district. You’ll be part of a team that doesn’t just meet expectations – we consistently exceed them, creating experiences that elevate the ordinary into the unforgettable.
Join us, and help write the next chapter in London’s most exciting hospitality story.
