The bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic. Must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast‑paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. This role pays an hourly rate of $6.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for part‑time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. The position will remain open until August 21, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co‑workers, and uniform standards.
  • Follow the bar pre‑shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available and be able to suggestively upsell products to guests.
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
  • Check the guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Communicate a cut‑off to a guest as required.
  • Listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns.
  • De‑escalate intoxicated guest situations; contact management or security as required if a guest becomes confrontational or uses extreme profanity.
  • Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision‑making.
  • Request additional products or restock products as needed.
  • Be responsible for the issued bank at the bar.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times.
  • Ensure that bar equipment is clean and well maintained.
  • Other duties as assigned may include setting up and breaking down bar equipment as required and assisting with the organization of the cooler.
Qualifications
  • Six months or more of experience bartending.
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Bartending school preferred.
  • Accurate cash handling skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to be self‑directed while working in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
