Role Purpose
Weāre on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to step into the heart of Europeās number one live entertainment destination and keep us brilliantly and electrically alive! At Co-op Live, weāre building an experience thatās bigger, bolder, and more electrifying, and our team of facilities maintenance professionals is central to making that happen. As an electrically biased Maintenance Technician, youāll be joining a passionate crew who thrive on high standards, fast pace, and the thrill of powering unforgettable moments for fans and artists from all over the world.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of the venueās electrical heartbeat, keeping our buildingās vital systems safe, efficient, and performance-ready at all times.
- Support on periodic planned maintenance tasks (e.g. fire alarm, water outlets, AHU filters, emergency lighting), while tackling fault-finding, repairs, and installations with confidence and precision.
- Bring sharp diagnostic skills to complex mechanical and electrical challenges, and roll up your sleeves for general maintenance with a true āwhatever it takesā attitude.
- Mentor maintenance engineers through our technical systems and support the Facilities Manager to onboard new team members.
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, HSE ACoPs guidance, and our own venue processes.
- Be part of the reactive frontline during live events, resolving issues quickly to keep every show running seamlessly.
- Support improvement projects with technical knowledge, and keep our venue presentation sharp and spectacular.
With a varied shift pattern (5 days out of 7) and a collaborative team environment, youāll play a crucial role in delivering a safe, and consistently exceptional live entertainment experience for our fans.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience
Weāre looking for someone with experience working with Electrical and/or Technical building systems along with a solid understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. If you have an IOSH Working Safely qualification or other recognised Health & Safety certifications that would be great!
You will have an exceptional standard of work, and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising on quality. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. You should also be proficient using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
