About The Venue: 8 Bishopsgate is a diverse, multi‑outlet tenant driven operation with an incredible range of hospitality. It features two café bars; a restaurant on level 26; The Lookout on level 50; executive dining and meeting rooms; and an auditorium for up to 200 guests. In addition, we cater events across the building.
Role Purpose: We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a true foodie who enjoys working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and wants to be part of a creative kitchen environment. Our menus change seasonally with worldwide influences, alongside a daily changing menu on a four‑week cycle, offering constant learning and development opportunities for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and deliver high quality dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are always met and exceeded.
- Take a hands‑on approach in the kitchen, leading your section with confidence and setting the standard during service.
- Collaborate closely with the wider kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
What We’re Looking For: A proactive and detail‑oriented Chef de Partie with a passion for high quality food and strong organisational skills. You will be confident running your own section, maintaining consistency and presentation standards, and supporting the wider team during busy service periods. A positive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. This role would suit a chef who is eager to learn, enjoys creativity, and wants to develop within a progressive kitchen environment.
Good to know: The role offers up to £14.80 per hour with a predominantly Monday to Friday schedule, supporting a strong work‑life balance. The business is closed on Easter, Christmas, and all bank holidays, and meals are provided while on duty.
