Role Purpose

Join a vibrant and growing hospitality business at an exciting student venue in London Bridge, home to a popular rooftop bar. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to take ownership of a lively operation and play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while developing their career within a successful and expanding company.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of a busy rooftop student bar, ensuring exceptional service and high operational standards.
  • Leading, coaching and motivating the bar team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Overseeing stock control, cash handling, licensing compliance and venue presentation.
  • Driving smooth and efficient service during busy trading periods while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Taking a hands-on approach by supporting the team behind the bar when required.
  • Creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment for students, guests and team members.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Bar Manager or Supervisor within a premium hospitality environment.
  • A confident leader with the ability to inspire, develop and support a high-performing team.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on management style and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced venue.
  • Excellent knowledge of bar operations, compliance and customer service standards.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Good to know

This role pays £36,000 per annum and involves five evening shifts per week, including weekends, with typical finish times between 9:30pm and 11:30pm. The successful candidate will take ownership of a busy rooftop student bar while remaining actively involved in operations during peak service periods.
