The Market is the foodie heart of 22 Bishopsgate, a bustling space that houses two coffee bars, a fantastic collection of food counters, an all‑day restaurant, outdoor and indoor bar and a catered events space.
Role Purpose
- Up to £13.85 per hour
- Casual Contract (40 hours per week)
This job is all about keeping the catering operation running smoothly behind the scenes whilst keeping costs under control. You’ll need to know how all parts of the business work so you can help out wherever needed, make things better, and sort out any problems that come up.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food, drinks and supplies to the kitchen, bar and dining areas on time, and keep tea points stocked with cups, coffee, tea, milk and other items.
- Manage stock properly, perform weekly stock counts and support monthly checks.
- Keep kitchens and storage areas clean and tidy, and ensure rubbish is disposed in the correct bins.
- Take care of equipment and manage cleaning supplies.
- Attend safety meetings, follow health and safety rules and report any accidents.
- Maintain food hygiene standards and complete all required documentation.
Requirements
Experience in hospitality or catering is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
