Role Purpose

Rhubarb Hospitality Collection is seeking an Assistant Head of Marketing with strong experience in hospitality. This senior management role suits a strategic marketing leader with strong hospitality experience, who is equally comfortable influencing C-suite stakeholders and managing direct reports. This role would be perfect for a creative, entrepreneurial marketer who enjoys launching campaigns and events, nurturing partnerships and communities, and delivering measurable commercial impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and drive new business growth within a multi site hospitality group by developing high-impact proposals, pitch decks, and managing end-to-end tender submissions.
  • Oversee the creation of premium, on brand marketing materials tailored to clients, stakeholders, and procurement requirements.
  • Plan and execute integrated hospitality marketing campaigns across digital marketing, social media, PR, events, and outreach to generate pipeline and revenue opportunities.
  • Own and continuously improve the marketing toolkit to ensure brand consistency, efficiency, and high-quality output across multiple sites.
  • Lead social media strategy, content planning, and partner marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Manage external agencies and collaborators, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives and brand standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, driving performance and alignment with commercial and growth targets.

What We're Looking For

  • A senior marketing professional with strong experience in hospitality marketing.
  • Proven track record of team leadership and people management.
  • Commercially driven, with experience aligning marketing strategies to procurement processes, pricing strategies, and contract frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities.

Good to Know

The role is hybrid based and our Rhubarb Head office is based in South West London, the role will involve some travel to our sites and venues.
