About the Venue

Managed by Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, the iconic Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 3 restaurants, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and events for up to 2000 people.

Role Purpose

We\’re seeking a detail-oriented assistant Food & Beverage Cost Controller to join our team at The Royal Albert Hall. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance-minded professional to make a direct impact on our business operations while working in London\’s most spectacular venue. You\’ll be the guardian of our F&B financial health, ensuring every penny is accounted for while supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional experiences to our guests.

What You\’ll Do

• Process and approve F&B invoices through our Adaco system with precision and efficiency
• Monitor and approve daily wastage reports and stock transfers
• Maintain our comprehensive F&B Gross Profit master tracker
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to optimize cost control

What We\’re Looking For

• Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Experience in hospitality finance or cost control (2+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems
• Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration

Highly Desirable

• Adaco system experience – this will set you apart from other candidates
• Background in restaurant, hotel, or event venue operations
• Understanding of food service profit margins and waste management
• Professional qualification in accounting or finance (CIMA/ACCA)
