Role Purpose
At Co-op Live, safety and security are our top priorities. We are looking for an experienced Building Security Supervisor to manage the team of security officers and support the team in delivering an industry-leading safe venue, where we will lead the way as we aim to meet or exceed security legislation and standards to ensure all fans and artists feel safe and secure.
Based in the Security Control Centre, the Building Security Supervisor will have a key role in supporting the Senior Security Manager in the operation of the venue on both event days and non-event days. Our 24/7 security team will work with colleagues to deliver a safe and memorable experience for all fans, visitors, and staff at the venue.
This is a salaried position, working 4 days on and 4 days off on 12 hour shifts covering both days, nights and event shifts.
Responsibilities
As a key member of the Security Team; you will work with 2 Building Security Officers reporting into you. You’ll play a central role in keeping our venue safe, secure, and running smoothly – day and night. From managing shift rosters and leading handovers to responding to incidents and fan needs, you’ll be the go-to contact during night shifts and a vital link between on-the-ground teams and the Event Control Room.
You\’ll handle everything from logging radio calls and coordinating building checks to assisting with access control, deliveries, alarms, and emergencies. Whether it’s prepping for events, supporting crowd safety, or liaising with emergency services, you\’ll help deliver an outstanding fan experience while ensuring our procedures are constantly improving.
