Responsibilities
- Work closely with the SENDCo to implement the Trust's SEND strategy and oversee provision for students with SEND.
- Lead and line manage a skilled team of Teaching Assistants, ensuring effective deployment to provide high-quality support for pupils.
- Develop curriculum resources and personalised learning plans to enable all pupils with SEND to access the support they require.
- Coordinate review meetings, collaborate with external agencies, and support pupils through important transition stages.
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and help maintain highest standards of safeguarding practice across the schools.
Qualifications
- Experience working within SEND provision and leading and managing a team.
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice 0-25.
- Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills.
