About OAK Media

OAK Media is a Google Ads and YouTube Ads agency specializing in fashion eCommerce brands, managing a portfolio of Shopify-based clients across the US and Europe. We're a lean, fast-moving team, and we're building the operational backbone to match our growth.

The Role

We're hiring a COO to own the operational backbone of the agency sitting between founder-level strategy and day-to-day execution across our media buyers, team leads, strategists, and account managers. This is a hands-on role: running calls, checking work, and unblocking people not reviewing dashboards from a distance.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and oversee our media buyers' performance across the client portfolio
  • Run regular calls with Team Leads and Media Buyers status checks, coaching, and accountability
  • Double-check the work of team leads, media buyers, strategists, and account managers QA on account structure, targeting, reporting, and client communication
  • Own and improve agency-wide operational processes onboarding, training, SOPs, performance reviews
  • Act as the senior escalation point below the Founder for account and team issues
  • Identify and act on opportunities to grow the business this isn't a "keep the trains running" role
  • Work closely with the Founder/GM to translate strategy into execution

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in an operations leadership role within a performance marketing or digital agency (COO, Head of Operations, Director of Client Services, or similar)
  • Direct experience managing media buyers or performance marketing teams
  • A strong track record running team calls, holding people accountable, and catching quality issues before they reach the client
  • A genuine operator mindset, comfortable in the details, not just high-level oversight
  • Experience scaling or improving agency operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bonus: experience with eCommerce/Shopify clients and Google/YouTube Ads
