We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, hardworking and have high expectations for all pupils within a Key Stage 2 setting.

You will enjoy working as part of a class team under the direction of the class teacher and take pride in supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This role will involve providing dedicated support for a Year 6 pupil with social, emotional and communication needs, who requires additional support to access learning successfully within the classroom. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement agreed strategies, support emotional regulation, and help the pupil develop positive relationships with adults and peers.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational member of staff who has experience of working with pupils with SEND, particularly those with social, emotional and mental health needs and communication difficulties. You will need to be patient, consistent, nurturing and able to follow structured support plans. Experience of supporting pupils with EHCPs and behaviour support strategies is desirable.
