The predicted salary is between 33910 - 41446 £ per year.
This post would suit a teacher with a strongly evidenced interest in SEN; this could be an experienced teacher, or an Early Career Teacher we arevery keen to appoint the right person for this post.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and hard-workingteacher who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and is committed to improving outcomes for children and youngpeople with SEN and/or disability and their families.
Each teacher has responsibilityfor leading a curriculum area across the school.
The successful candidate will be
- Committed to developingpersonalised learning, curriculum and assessment for children and young peoplewith SLD/PMLD/CLDD, using a wide range of adaptive teaching strategies, resources and assessment tools.
- Committed to developingsubject leadership within an SEN setting
- Able to demonstrate anexcellent understanding of how children and young people learn and develop, andof the pastoral role in this context.
- Highly motivated andflexible, and committed to developing own, and others’, CPD.
- Creative, innovative andquick to learn.
- Able to demonstrateexcellent initiative and organisational skills.
- Keen to lead, and to join, a committed, hard-working and supportive team.
- Committed to partnershipworking, both within school and with outside agencies.
- Passionate about theirrole in improving outcomes and life chances for children and young people withdisabilities.
An understanding of child development and experience of, or stronglyevidenced interest in, teaching or supporting children and young people with SENis essential - further training in aspects of Special Education will beprovided, as appropriate.
The school is organised in to 3 Phases (3-7, 7-14, and 14-19), has particular strengths in Communication, the Arts, Physical Development, PSHE and Thinking Ahead (including work-related learning andcareers), and a particular commitment to extra-curricular enrichment, includingoutdoor learning and adventure, and community visits.
