Our client near Braintree is recruiting an Administrator / Medical Note Summariser.
We are looking for someone with a good work ethic that wants to learn.
The main responsibilities of the post holder will be to check, scan, summarise and code any relevant information from a patients paper health record into the practice(s) clinical system. Accurately code records in accordance with the practice(s) summarising protocol, keeping detailed records of summaries completed throughout. Role will be fulfilled in a non NHS environment allowing a relaxed atmosphere.
Our client is looking for someone with a very solid work history who is happy working in a structured environment.
Due to the remote location your own transport is essential.(5 Miles out of Braintree)
Β£13.20 per hour PAYE
Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm or 8.30am until 4.30pm.
1 hour unpaid lunch break. 2 x 15 minutes and 30 minutes for lunch.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Audit medical records
- Sort and prepare records in preparation for summarising
- Scan records
- Produce an accurate summary of the patients medical history in an efficient and timely manner
- Ensure that all patient information is accurately input to the practice(s) clinical system and clearly amend any inaccuracies
- Maintain detailed records of summaries completed
- Any additional duties as outlined by your Supervisor / Manager
- Maintain confidentially throughout
Our client will need to apply for a DBS check on your behalf if you do not have one.
Successful Candidate should possess:
- Good standard of IT Skills (including Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team or as an individual
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and guidance
- Highly organised individual with strong attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach
- Able to work under pressure
