ABOUT THE ROLE

The People & Culture Advisor blends hands-on P&C operational delivery with genuine business partnering: you will be a visible, trusted first point of contact for managers across OAG, coaching them through everyday people matters, guiding them on policy and employee relations, and helping them lead their teams with confidence.

Reporting to the Head of P&C Operations and working closely with the wider P&C team, you will keep core people processes running smoothly worldwide while building the kind of manager relationships that let you spot issues early, advise with credibility and shape better outcomes.

Based in Luton or Lithuania, with regular travel across all OAG locations, you will work with increasing autonomy, contribute to process improvements and help build a globally aligned, employee-centred people function.

It is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional who wants to develop real partnering skills alongside a broad, internationally grounded operational foundation, and to progress towards a Business Partner career path.

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract providing maternity cover.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Partner with managers as their first point of P&C contact, coaching and advising them on policies, procedures, performance and employment matters so they can handle people situations well, and escalating complex cases to senior colleagues where needed.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with managers and employees across all OAG locations, getting to know each team's context so your advice is practical and grounded, and helping create a consistent employee experience worldwide.
  • Support managers through employee relations casework: preparing documentation, coordinating meetings, guiding them on fair process and maintaining clear records, contributing to consistent outcomes that reflect OAG's values.
  • Deliver core P&C operational processes globally, including onboarding, offboarding, contract administration and employee lifecycle changes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance at every stage.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee data across P&C systems, supporting payroll inputs and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data privacy standards across all jurisdictions.
  • Contribute to P&C projects and improvement initiatives, using what you hear from managers to identify opportunities to improve processes, and supporting the implementation of policy updates and employee experience programmes.
  • Support compliance with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions, flagging emerging risks to managers and the P&C team and helping keep documentation and policies up to date.
  • Travel regularly between the UK (Luton and London) and Lithuania, building face-to-face relationships with managers and applying processes consistently and sensitively across different cultural contexts.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A genuine partnering mindset: you enjoy working alongside managers, want to understand their teams and challenges, and see your role as making them better people leaders, not just answering their queries.
  • An advisory approach and growing HR knowledge, with the confidence to guide managers on policy interpretation, employee relations and day-to-day people matters, and the judgement to know when to elevate.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust quickly with managers and colleagues across different cultures, locations and seniority levels.
  • International awareness and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to work effectively across multiple geographies and a willingness to travel regularly between the UK and Lithuania.
  • Attention to detail and process orientation, able to manage multiple operational tasks accurately and maintain data integrity across P&C systems.
  • A high degree of integrity and discretion, handling sensitive employee information confidentially and in line with GDPR and local data protection requirements.
  • Curiosity and initiative: comfortable working with minimal guidance, proactively identifying improvements, and developing both operational and business partnering capabilities over time.

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING THAT WOULD BE GREAT

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with P&C platforms such as Hibob, Bamboo HR or Rippling, or exposure to multi-jurisdiction employment law or payroll contexts.
  • Experience working in or with an international organisation supporting employees across multiple countries, or a strong interest in developing global HR capability.

If you don't meet every requirement but feel excited about this role, we'd still love to hear from you.

WE WILL OFFER YOU

  • You will proactively explore and adopt AI tools and automation in your day-to-day work, keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do.

You will share learnings with your team and approach new technologies with curiosity and an open mind.

At OAG, finding better ways to work and putting customers first is everyone's responsibility.

  • Real responsibility on hard problems, with the autonomy to own decisions and act on them, in an open culture built on trust.
  • Flexible working arrangements that allow remote work or office attendance
  • An attractive compensation and benefits package, including private health insurance, a company bonus scheme and enhanced pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a day off during your birthday month. Plus the option to purchase up to an additional 10 days leave.
  • Octopus EV salary sacrifice scheme
  • Work remotely anywhere in the world for up to 1 month per year

OAG is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and able to perform at their best.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences.

If you require reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know - we're happy to have an open conversation about how we can support you.
