ABOUT THE COMPANY: OAG is the essential intelligence partner transforming global travel. For nearly a century, we’ve been the foundation the travel industry builds on, trusted, proven, essential. Today, we’re going beyond. We combine unmatched data quality, quantity and access with breakthrough technology and deep industry expertise to deliver what the industry truly needs: not just more data, but better answers. From real-time operational intelligence to strategic decision-making, we power the entire travel ecosystem, from airlines and airports to technology companies and financial institutions. We are actively embedding AI throughout our intelligence layer, combining nearly a century of proprietary data with the latest technology to deliver answers that were simply not possible before. We exist because travel moves the world, and we move travel. By transforming complexity into clarity and questions into answers, we give our partners the intelligence they need to thrive in an evolving world.

ABOUT THE ROLE: OAG is growing and so is our investment in our people. This is a new role sitting at the heart of our People and Culture function, created to build the capabilities that will power OAG’s next phase of growth. Reporting to the Director of Talent and Learning Development, you will own a broad and commercially important L&D portfolio, from designing the programmes that set every new joiner up for success, to building the commercial capability that drives OAG’s revenue ambitions. A significant part of your remit will be partnering directly with our commercial and sales teams to close capability gaps and translate OAG’s growth targets into practical, measurable learning. Alongside that, you will shape management development, skills pathways, and organisation wide learning initiatives that help our people grow at every stage of their career. This is a role for someone who believes great L&D changes behaviours and improves outcomes, not just ticks boxes.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Own the design and delivery of OAG’s L&D portfolio, from onboarding and early career programmes through to management development and advanced skills pathways.
  • Lead commercial capability development for OAG’s sales and commercial teams, designing learning that builds core skills in consultative selling, negotiation, account management, and commercial storytelling.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create blended learning experiences that are practical, engaging, and built around real performance challenges.
  • Facilitate programmes in person across our UK offices and virtually for our global teams, adapting your approach for different audiences, functions, and experience levels.
  • Build and maintain structured onboarding journeys that set every new OAG employee up for success from day one, regardless of which function they join.
  • Use performance data, pipeline analytics, and conversation intelligence to diagnose capability gaps and ensure learning investment targets the areas of greatest impact.
  • Champion a coaching culture across OAG, equipping managers with practical tools and frameworks to develop their people through everyday conversations.
  • Leverage AI tools to design, personalise, and scale learning content more effectively, staying ahead of how technology is reshaping the way people learn and develop at work.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven experience in a generalist L&D role, with a track record of designing and delivering programmes across multiple functions that have made a measurable difference to performance.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial or sales teams, and the ability to design learning that has a tangible impact on revenue outcomes.
  • Strong grounding in instructional design and adult learning principles, with the practical ability to create blended learning for a wide range of audiences.
  • A confident, credible facilitator who can engage and challenge colleagues from new joiners through to senior commercial leaders.
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable using performance data, feedback, and business metrics to diagnose needs and demonstrate impact.

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING THAT WOULD BE GREAT:

  • A qualification in Learning and Development, HR, or Organisational Development such as CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and digital learning authoring tools.

If you don’t meet every requirement but feel excited about this role, we’d still love to hear from you.

WE WILL OFFER YOU:

  • A progressive, non-hierarchical culture where innovation drives everything we build.
  • Flexible working arrangements that allow remote work or office attendance.
  • An attractive compensation and benefits package, including private health insurance, a company bonus scheme and enhanced pension scheme.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, volunteering days and additional day off during your birthday month.
  • Octopus EV salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Work remotely anywhere in the world for up to 1 month per year.
  • Annual learning and development budget.

OAG is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and able to perform at their best. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. If you require reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know — we’re happy to have an open conversation about how we can support you.
