  • Defining and delivering a long term cloud strategy and roadmap, aligned to our business goals centered on growth and modernisation.
  • Leading architectural thinking around scalable, future-proof cloud solutions.
  • Supporting ongoing cloud transformation initiatives, including modernisation, consolidation and legacy technology migration work.
  • Creating clarity in ambiguous environments and guiding teams through change.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across engineering, product and leadership.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven experience leading and scaling distributed engineering teams across multiple geographies, with a strong focus on people development and communication.
  • A background in systems administration, engineering, or DevOps, with deep hands on expertise in AWS and/or Azure.
  • Strong grasp of cloud and solutions architecture, platform design, and enterprise cloud networking.
  • Demonstrable experience with multi cloud governance and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) at enterprise scale.
  • FinOps and cloud cost management experience, with a track record of reducing spend without sacrificing capability.
  • Cloud security expertise spanning enterprise IAM (Entra ID, AWS IAM, federation) and recognised security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2).

WE WILL OFFER YOU:

  • A dynamic work environment at OAG, fostering innovation in a progressive, non-hierarchical culture, where passionate tech enthusiasts continuously develop new products and solutions with a focus on improvement for the aviation industry.
  • Flexible working arrangements that allow remote work or office attendance.
  • An attractive compensation and benefits package, including private health insurance, a company bonus scheme and enhanced pension scheme.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a day off during your birthday month.
  • Octopus EV salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Work remotely anywhere in the world for up to 1 month per year.
  • Annual learning and development budget.
