This is a Permanent Full Time position. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to lead the Planning Policy team. The Planning Policy team co-ordinates the production of the Council’s Local Plan and all its associated elements.
Although small in size, the Planning Policy team has a strong history of performing to the highest standards and always finds itself in the top echelons of local authority planning performance. We are based in the beautiful Brocks Hill country park in Oadby, and this part of Leicestershire is a great place to live, work and visit.

Agile working allows employees to work flexibly to balance their home and work needs. We are supportive of flexible working arrangements and may consider part time hours for this role where appropriate. Employees are generally expected to spend a minimum of 1 day per week in the office.
